Development centres
A development centre is often nothing more than an assessment centre with a much stronger focus on the development potential and the development activities rather than the mere assessing of strengths and weaknesses. A development centre aims at measuring actual competencies with a view to further development and always contains a lot of interaction with the participant.
A development centre is not a one-day activity but a process in which each participant has the opportunity to show the acquired competencies. Participants always receive extensive feedback and are encouraged to think about their own further development.
A helping hand with the further development of competencies (e.g. using the HR tool Evolutips®) is part of the development process.
Because competency assessment and competency development go hand in hand, an efficient development process starts with a clear measurement of the present competencies.
