Participants' portal
Here you will find all you need to know about Quintessence assessment centres. We will inform you on what you can expect as participant and give answers to the most frequently asked questions.
At Quintessence, we do everything possible to provide you with a rich learning and human experience. It is of vital importance to us that you feel at ease and we want you to be fully prepared to perform well. All this helps to make your assessment centre a positive and enriching experience. We will enable you to make the most of your assessment day and to make you look back on it with a good feeling.
If you come to us for an assessment centre, a focused assessment or, for example, a development centre, you can rest assured that everything has been fully prepared. Together we choose the best date and send you, if you participate in a full day assessment center, in advance the booklet: ‘Making my assessment centre a great experience!’. It contains 49 practical questions and answers about the assessment technique and helps you start the day in a relaxed frame of mind. And if this isn’t the case, our people will take care of it. Our passion is to bring out the very best in people.
In our assessments we work with realistic simulations that are 100% based on the day-to-day reality of a company, organisation, or institution. We have developed more than ten contexts for this. During your assessment programme, you will be working in one of these ‘fictitious’ organisations. To access these simulation sets, log-in here or click on log-in on the menu.
One thing we’d like to say in advance: assessment means that we make a judgment; but for us, this is directly interwoven with development. There are many competencies that you can develop or in which you can become even more professional, and there are many ways of achieving this.
But never forget that an assessment centre also gives you the opportunity to evaluate what you find important and less important, to reflect on your motivation and reasons why. You do well to embrace this opportunity with open arms. You may discover hidden strengths, or realise that the job you have applied for is just not right for you. An assessment centre is an opportunity to reflect. Use it to the full.
