An important question when designing your HR policy. Each time you introduce a new position, discuss career planning or implement a restructuring plan, but also at the recruitment or evaluation stage, you'll like to work with the right competency profiles. The Competency Analysis Instrument (CAI©) will help you with this.
CAI© performs a thorough competency analysis based on tasks and responsibilities, organisation culture and strategy. The HR tool collects information from various respondents, after which it weights the various competencies.
This ensures an efficient and systematic but also responsible competency assessment. You'll avoid stereotype and unrealistically heavy profiles and you'll reach consensus by defining the final competency profile during a consensus meeting.
Respondents indicate to which extent they believe a specific situation is important for a specific position (on a five-point scale). The extent of consensus is established and included in a report. The report gives an overview of the 38 Quintessence competencies and an indication of the relevance for a specific position or function level.
