Open course – 2 days
A two-day training course on appreciative coaching, a method that is increasingly being taken on by coaches in the world of coaching and is part of the appreciative inquiry approach.
In appreciative coaching the focus lies on strengths, passions and possibilities and not on shortcomings. In this method the coach explores the strengths of the coachee, where his or her source of energy lies and how this can help prime movement.
After all, the greatest possibilities of growth for everyone lie in the area of his or her strengths, qualities and talents. As a coach this requires a different frame of reference, different techniques and interventions. During this two-day programme we offer you this framework, the necessary insight and exercises to be able to commence appreciative coaching.
Everyone who wishes to specialise in coaching methods.
We talk about the origin of appreciative coaching, the essence of the methodology and the underlying principles. We situate the model and the approach in a wider scope of change and realising change through the coachee’s motivation and self-guidance.
We focus on the basic skills of the appreciative coach and provide specific tools and tips to shape the coaching conversation. We also examine how the method of the appreciative approach can be pragmatically applied by executives on the shop floor.
Basic attitude and techniques of the appreciative coach
You actively take part in the training course and are able to gain experience that can be immediately utilised in your coaching practice on the basis of several exercises.
